General Information
What? Where? When?
- beeronthebridge is scheduled for Saturday, April 21st, 2007 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the historic Walnut Street Bridge in Downtown Chattanooga.
- Guests stroll among the 44 tents, sampling more than 150 different varieties of beers from around the world.
- Among other featured festivities are popular food vendors and live music from outstanding regional musicians.
Why?
- beeronthebridge benefits the Chattanooga Area Food Bank which is celebrating 25 years of service in our community.
- The Chattanooga Area Food Bank, through its various programs and member agencies, provides food assistance to more than 14,000 people each week throughout a 20 county service area in Tennessee and Northwest Georgia.
- In spring 2007, 2,500 ticket purchases are anticipated, generating more than $60,000 for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
Who? How?
- Tickets will be distributed from the beeronthebridge website, Riverside Wine & Spirits, and the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. We are looking for ticket distribution partners!! Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the bridge.
- Local beer distributors donate product and provide outstanding event management support. Featured distributers include Carter Distributing, Tennessee Crown Distributors, and MoLo Tennessee Distributing Company.
- More than 100 community volunteers set up and serve samples of 150 imported beers.
- Media Sponsors include TalkRadio 102.3 and Fairway Outdoor Advertising.
- The sensational Success of the first beeronthebridge provided supreme recognition for sponsors in this attention-getting venue. In just 3 days, our website had over 26,000 hits!
